I agree, Nerve Plant (Fittonia albivenis) in the Acanthus Family (Acanthaceae) is a very attractive foliage plant. Native to South America, it grows well outdoors year round in tropical regions and also makes a fine house plant in colder climes.

Nerve Plant (Fittonia albivenis)

Nerve plant grows best in low to medium light, though it also thrives in a sunny window if the light is filtered with a sheer curtain. If it gets too much hot sun, even indoors, the leaves may burn, turning brown and crispy. Water nerve plant when the soil surface just barely starts to dry.
I order to get the insight about this here is a quick resource that can help and guide you.

The Fittonia seems like an interesting plant. I had not heard of it before.
