Looking for an excellent organic fertilizer.

Something that works well for lemons as well as kumquats.

Are the Citrus you want to fertilize in the ground or in containers?

If your plants are in containers I have had excellent results with Medina HastaGrow liquid. If plants are in the ground Espoma Citrus Tone and Jobes are excellent products.

For an in-ground tree, mulching regularly with compost is another method of enriching the soil with nutrients, but a bagged fertilizer such as Espoma will have benefit too, as long as you find it cost-effective.

Yes. Prefer doing mulching - this time, want to try giving the plants a kick start.

Compost has lower NPK values than fertilizer. Do both, use compost regularly and fertilize regularly. Apply both out to the dripline of the tree.

Usually use only compost, will consider your recommendation. Thank you.
