except for going down to ride along the riverwalk sometimes, i don't have much connection to that. it did make me have to cue up some dire straits though.

Galmal, those are beautiful pictures too, that is the view you see from your house? You are very lucky if that is the case.
Sadly, no, not the view from my house. It's a piece of property we have, that we had planned on building on. But the economy got in the way - we ended up selling the sailboat, but the property is still on the market.

I was raised around the water, but we moved to the mountains about 20 years ago. We always planned on retiring to the water, but I don't know when that will be. While I love the mountains, I do miss the water and of all things, the seagulls. People always laugh at me when I say that, but I really enjoy watching and listening to them.
