Plant 1. Possibly Prunus laurocerasus--Cherry Laurel

Plant 2. Possibly Laurus nobilis. The leaves are used in cooking.

Thanks. I thought the first one might be cherry laurel also, but if it is, it should have flowers during the spring right? The little white ones
