Hi there,

after two trouble-free year my Clivia started yellowing and one leaf broke.
I can't tell whether it's due to too much or too little water (I water sparingly but perhaps not sparingly anyway).

Any clues?

I believe you need to subject them to chilly weather for a month to prompt flowering. I've never tried

A quick Google says to promote flowering keep them to 10degrees C from November to February, and keep them in a small pot. So maybe not feeding and replacing soil or you might get lots of leaves.

Give them bright to very bright light and keep moist but not soggy. Yellow/brown tips indicate too dry more Han too wet, as long as it’s not being kept really wet.
