I have a mister for my gardenias but it says not to mist them when they're in flower and the buds are almost ready to open, I don't have any saucers small enough to fit on the hanging shelves so if I glasses of water beside them would that provide enough humidity?

Also the second picture is the bathroom window it is south/ south west facing but the window is translucent will that filter the sunlight enough so that it won't burn them or should I move them?

The last picture is the distance from the window to the shelf on the other side of the room, would gardenias be ok there or do they need to be closer to the window?

Thanks
