I got here is a 2 month old (started in feb 1st 2018) Avocado tree

it sprouted on Feb 10th
no splice
it's going to be huge look at it's Extremely LARGE 8" leaves it's only 14.5" tall in 3 months time(from sprout to 14.5") in 58 days

I got lucky as it was all ready growing inside the perfect tasting Mega Jumbo Hass Avocado (2.5lb or 1.13kg)

it all ready had cracked opened and started growing inside of it.

Yes, they do grow very fast with very strong leaves. Mine was rescued from the compost bin and it was so big that I was scared as I only have a small garden, so I terminated it. Then I regretted it a bit, especially when someone living in London had an avocado from a tree raised from seed.

my secret was to use filtered or rain water. they seem to do better with
still trying to grow my lemon..

2 or the 4 lemon plants were a bust so far.

My lemons never grow any taller and the cold weather here doesn't help. I will seriously do something about them. The scent of the flowers is just out of this world. I have now put some avocado stones in a pot. But to tell the truth, it might be easier to bury them in composting materials and they will definitely sprout.

brad: You're lucky! As you will definitely see the tree fruit. Here, an avocado was NEWS! One matured last year in Chelsea Physics Garden (?) In Australia, my relative said that they all matured at the same time and she didn't know what to do with them. I would like to have a pecan tree. Seeds are still thinking .. sulking. Even I would sulk at such crazy bitter cold we are enduring at the moment.
