How to distill flowers etc

Any books ....resources on distilling scented water and oils
What parts of plants to use...the amount of ingredients
Does a person have to use copper coated tin

No idea what a copper coated tin means, copper is often used for distillation of spirits gin, whisky etc. I suspect it comes down to two nations separated by a language. Something similar to the USA referring to canning when they mean bottling.
Never mind though, technically there is no reason why you shouldn't use glass or stainless steel.
