How do I trim this?

This has been bugging be for a while now. I'm just not sure how to go about it. A chain saw seems a bit overkill and messy, but pulling all the fern by hand and then trimming each little bit left from a cut frond seems like it would take days. How would most people keep this type of Palm clean looking?

LOL! I quite like the ferns .. Ahhhhhhhh .. are you sure you want to get rid of them. You can do it by hand and sell them!

Certainly no shortage of product! Maybe I could set up a booth at the farmers market

Looks like an old man with a seriously scraggly beard, and it needs a shave!
