I bought a seedling two months ago, and now it's grown to about 2 feet. It has sprouted some new leaves, but are now looking sickly and yellow. I don't want it to die =( I've just started gardening, so any advice is appreciated.
Note: it has been raining heavily tho on and off for the past weeks. The plant is on the ground.

That's my guess too, plus I'm thinking it's really hot as well? I grow eggplants every year and they start getting blooms and baby fruits when they are under a foot tall. Also they like well-drained soil, so if yours is dense and clay-like that won't help matters.

Not sure if adding fertilizer at this point would help. Can you rig something up so the plant gets sun, but some shelter from rain?

A photo would help if you can do that.
