You mention Fungus Gnats and everyone says over watering.
Right now it is hot killing dry.
We have County Water and I use it. Things that have been Transplanted and in small pots get watered twice a week. Established plants get waterd once a week.
I'm thinking basically there is no other water around if a person water's a plant the Gnats will move in. Not necessarily over watering.
