I love taking walks in my vegetable garden....Some vegetables are too pretty... Not!

.....I wonder if the birds will allow some of the grapes to reach maturity

....my cucumbers are still going strong

I couldn't keep up with the green and wax beans, no matter how much I ate and gave away and so now the remaining ones are only good as seeds. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I am very grateful for how well my garden performed this year, but I'm thinking next year I will only plant wax beans, no more green beans, I can only use so many seeds and don't like seeing fruits go to waste.

It's been raining for 2 straight days, so I haven't even been to the garden...I can see from the house that my tomatoes need to be picked...another thing I have too much of

I couldn't keep up with the green and wax beans,

If only, I planted out my beans in a nice piece of soil and the badger came and dug them up looking for worms. I had a few left over, but we have been well short of beans this year.
