What fruit is known for the region/state you live in? Like I live in the south and we're known for peaches.

Calfornia is known for dates, citrus, avocados, figs but really just about anything grows here.

I think that my area is known mostly for apples, but we also grow delicious pears, plums and strawberries. I believe that Polish strawberries are the most delicious:)

Apples, grapes, blueberries are the main fruits in my area. I had to look that up on google, because I didn't know about the fruits for the area. We do seem to have more vegetables than fruits grown here.

Quince. We actually make a lot things with it, one of my favorite things is a dessert we make with the meat of the quince, sugar and some water. It has a very firm consistency. I used to eat it a lot before, but I got insuline resistance... so I really had to stop eating that kind of things.

Where I live in the Mediterranean is known as an Aladdin's Cave of fruits, nuts and vegetables as just about everything you can or can't imagine comes from this region, such as all the citrus fruits, olives, mangoes, avocados, loquats, quince, all the stone fruits such as peaches, apricots, nectarines, plums and cherries, plus many varieties of apples and pears, all varieties of soft fruit but particularly strawberries and melons, plus many tropical fruits such as papayas, chirimoyas and medlar fruits and probably many more that I haven't mentioned and thats just the fruit, as you can probably imagine, the list of nuts and vegetables that also come from this region is just as long :)
