Hi everyone, thanks for having me here.

I do have a question, I found scale on one of my plants and as a precaution, I sprayed my FLF’s (a year-round) horticultural oil, too. Am I supposed to rinse off the oil? Or just leave it like it is for now? I am scared I’ll burn the leaves or suffocate them. Please advice! Thank you so much in advance.

I don’t rinse mine, it’s recommended not to apply if it will rain for example.

Horticultural oil won't burn the leaves, too much sun will. Keep it in place and it will do fine. If you want a more permanent control for any insect use a systemic insecticide. It comes in granules that you sprinkle on the soil and water in. It smells a little "chemical-y" for awhile but it dissipates within a day or so. The vapors won't hurt you.
