I grow organically, and stay with heritage varieties. I am sure that growing the large varieties organically will make them less tasteless, and am sure that some of the newer varieties may have more flavor that older varieties. Perhaps having been around before commercial varieties of tomatoes became the everyday rule spoiled me, since I know what a tomato is supposed to taste like.
