I understand nitrates flow with water and can be washed away and ammonia sticks with the soil, but ammonia can evaporate away. So if you were to let your soil dry 100% completely out, which I know you couldn't go 100% with a plant in it, but theoretically would all of the ammonia evaporate out if there was no water?
