As a child I was terrified by a movie I believe titled "Day of the Triffids". This is not far from that.

An 11 year old boy in this country designed a track on which his sunflower will move toward light source. Don't know who is the copycat.

The same tech has been used to allow solar panels to track with the sun. Clever stuff!
