cranesbill (geranium) or weed?

I have a lot of a plant that looks like cranesbill. I'm half inclined to think it's a weed/wild flower, but perhaps it's cranesbill. Photo attached with a cranesbill plant (also from my garden) for comparison. The real cranesbill has soft branches covered in fuzz, the mystery plant has sturdier branches.We are in the Pacific NW of USA, if that's any clue.

what you have is a more wild cranesbill. I have them in my woodland, of which I leave alone. they do not hurt anything. think I have a recent pic of one. Yep, the purple flower at the bottom.

Huh. Not familiar with cranesbill, but I have a patch of wild geranium that comes up every year. Looks really similar.
