Beautiful @amelia88  I have never heard of a Cosmos Festival. It is lovely that the people in Japan celebrate this oh so pretty flower. Do you know if these Cosmos were planted? or if they are growing wild there? I always thought of Cosmos as a neotropical flower, and now i know otherwise. Your photo is wonderful in showing the abundance, very nice, makes me smile(y)
Here too, the wild Cosmos that comes up in fields and byways, start to bloom in October to mark the end of the rainy season, but in my garden they bloom year around and the butterflies and bees love them too. :)

Gorgeous! I grow Cosmos as an annual every year (pink and white) and I have a patch that reseeds each year. I'd love to see a whole field of them.
