Can anyone suggest what that think this could be?

Hi,

This tree like pollarded standard is is a new customers garden.

My app thinks it’s an elder which I am certain is incorrect.

Untill it is in leaf I can’t find out what it is.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Nice to see some elm surviving. I have noticed in a couple of places the rookery has moved to large conifers since Dutch elm.
