Has anyone ever used PhoSul in place of soft rock phosphate?

That appears to be rock phosphate with added things. The only thing that concerns me is the added silicon dioxide which I dont really see in a general fertilizers makeup. That makes me think it is a specific fertilizer for something. For what though? Fig trees contain silica so maybe good for that? It is basically a sand so probably harmless to most vegetables. Maybe good for turf grass?
