Black stalk new growing

So i planted sunflower seeds two months ago , and i repot them because i planted 4 seeds in one pot so i had to separate them .
Ita been two weeks since i did it and now i notce that one of the plant have black stalk . And he grow really slow or even now at all since i repot him.. is he dying ? Or maybe have a trasplate shock ?

Yes, that very slight darkening is normal. Sometimes it gets really dark purple even farther up the stem. It’s typical of darker colored varieties.

Quite often, the stems of seedlings will display a degree of adverse discolouration. This can be the result of the seed not having been sown deep enough, and thus the fresh, imature stem tends to carry some of the soil/compost residue. On the other hand. If it is observed that the discoloured area increases up the stem and signs of the stem growth weakening, then destroy the seedling. Note here. Any measurement of the area in question, should be from the upper level.
