Big dry area on lawn

My lawn has a big brownish area where my lawn look dry but rest of my lawn seams green and healthy. What is this? My lawn has never had this problem before?

Root problems, but insect, mold or bacteria or virus? Have you pulled some up and taken cleaned root photos you can share?

It showed out to be an insect DirtMechanics I had a friend to take a look. He found beetles in my soil and I guess that's my problem:-( Thanks for your reply. Have a nice weekend!
