Any day now the eggs could hatch, watch on love cam.
I believe it is somewhere in North California, the name "Big Bear" tells you the location. Also if you go on Facebook, and put in Big Bear you can join and follow that way also.I wasn't aware until seeing your post...but will follow now.
Do you know the general location of the nest?
Make this thread a sticky so it will be easy to find.
sometimes on the video of them I can hear car motors must have some roadway close enough.Just up the hill from San Bernardino. The lake is stocked with Kokanee salmon, trout, catfish, carp and bass, so lots of food. Then there’s ducks for a change of pace.
believe if you youtube you can find a pic of a typical eagle nest next to an adult body for size. That nest is impressive...some big sticks in there.
awesome. we need more respect for the homes of animals /birds today. The tree is on a wide peninsula and a road runs behind it. The tree is way out toward the tip. There are fences and signs and BIG fines (and felony jail time) for disturbing the eagles.
