Best Indoor Succulent for a room without much light?

Hi there

I recently moved into a room that is situated at an awkward angle that does not allow much light. I used to grow Aloe Vera, but would like to try something new in this room (it is quite small so I would like something that could fit on a desk beside a computer comfortably).

Thanks in advance

I wish I could help but I just found out the cactus I have been watering sparingly is an aloe plant

Maybe a Christmas Cactus, we have one that is not cared for very well, not much light where the plant has been placed, not watered often either. It is not growing much but it is not dead either, my daughter is not into plants.

Most succlents like some sun. You could try drunkard's or mistletoe cactus. Both are small and not really cactus (they are Rhipsalis varieties). My favorite low light plant is the heart leaf philodendron. I grow mine in water pots. The leaves are smaller in low light which I like. The more sun the larger the leaves.
