I am loving the use of bark! I love the rustic look it gives everything. It looks like your project is coming along nicely. I wish I had the tools and knowledge to do something like this, but sadly I'm not good with anything you could find in the garage. Best of luck to you and finishing your project!

Cool Pole Lathe Zigs. I want one now;) I Bet you enjoy bending that pole & making lovely things with it often. I'm thinking ......A fallen tree will be doing well if you get hold of it(y).

Looked like you put in hours of work there and like @alexiskilgannon I don't even know the type of tools unless you said "give me the flat head or the pointed head screwdriver".

Oh wow, you did such a good job on that, and I too like how you left the bark on some of the wood pieces, gives the thing character. Looks like you worked really hard to build it.

That's awesome! What are you planning on making with it?

Ah what a pain! Out of curiosity, where do you fix the wood when you're turning a plate?

Been doing a bit of adjusting today, starting to work better :)

It fixes onto a pole called a Mandrill that has 4 nails banged into it with just about a quarter of an inch sticking out, then I filled the heads into small chisel shapes :)

Was gonna take a pic but have put me camera down somewhere stupid
