I moved one of my larger aloe vera plants to a different room recently, and the larger, older leaves have been thinning out and drooping randomly. This has been happening very quickly and I'm not sure what to do. Now it is also leaning more as well Time for a bigger pot or less/more water or diseased??

It's easy to over water succulents, so that may well be the culprit here. Does it have less light since it was moved?

The soil is very very dry, so I'm not sure if it's overwatering! It has about the same amount of light but it is west facing instead of south facing

Is it dry underneath the surface too? It looks like it might need re-potting, so you could try that and see if it helps (y)

Yes it's dry all the way through! I try not to water very much in the winter but maybe I am not watering enough and there isn't enough water to sustain the plumpness of the leaves?

I Would try checking its root just to make sure it's OK. It does look like it needs to be repoted also It just might need to be watered more often even in winter I water my aloes every 21 days. Hope this helps
