Aruncus dioicus 'Zweiweltenkind' The cultivar epithet means "Child of two worlds", as one parent was from supposedly from China and the other from North America or Europe. At one time, this cultivar was considered a hybrid of two separate species: A. sinensis X A. dioicus. However, Aruncus sinensis isn't even a valid species name. Perhaps, this is a hybrid of A. sylvester and A. dioicus, but even still those two species are so similar that they are often considered to be synonymous.
