Apple trees and bugs

Ok, all you organic gardeners, what can I spray on my apple tree to keep the worms out of my apples? I can't bring myself to spray with chemicals.

You could try cover the apples. Here's an article about using paper bags over the apples.

This pdf mentions using a clay-based, non-toxic powder to coat the tree. This deters fruit flies from laying eggs.

It seems like the general practice is to cover the apples in some way, without using pesticides.

can't see me out there covering all my apples, last year I used a bit of Dawn Dish soap, some Olive Oil and Water and sprayed that on them, wasn't 100% but it helped and no toxic chemicals, I may try that again.
