It's unlikely, there are an awful lot of varieties that look very similar. An expert who has looked at the size and shape of the tree, cut an apple in half and looked at the seeds, and then tasted it might narrow it down to one of a few, but even the same variety can look a bit different grown in different soil, or on a slope with a different aspect.Can anyone help identify the variety please?
