Our 20 year old dwarf apple is very sick--can anyone tell me what this is? It doesn't exactly look like a rust
or fire blight. The diseased leaves are falling off the tree. There is fruit on the tree this year, actually it's
covered in 1-2" apples for the first time in years. Can anyone identify this & suggest treatment?
We planted this on our daughter's first birthday, I am sick at the thought of losing it. Thank you. :)

There are numerous viral and fungal diseases that have these same similar symptoms. All are very serious. You should get in touch with a local expert such as your county extension agent or an arborist who specializes in fruit trees. It would be a disservice to you to try to guess what is happening to your tree for a problem as serious as this appears to be.
