You deprived me of sleep. Well, what could be there? What?!
I wonder why such a hole? For ventilation? For cats? Monks - hermits lived in England?

I hope that during the construction of the church people were not buried in the foundation, as they did during the construction of castles and bridges during the Middle Ages.

I read somewhere that before the Middle Ages the burial was inside the church (for "special" people). And after the Middle Ages - only near the church. But there was an opinion that closer to the church is better.

So, in England in the old churches there are burials inside too (Inside the building) ?

Yep, the more money you had, the closer you got buried to your imaginary friend

Lots of burials inside the church, hence the foot bone in the last pic

Even more worrisome, (at least to me...) whatever lives there, why does it need such a big hook? WHAT is it hanging on that big hook?

Don't worry, it's not a hook but electrical cable, whatevers in there has something to plug in

Hmm... the plot thickens. :cautious:

No, zigs, after a bit of thought, I'm not sure that's very comforting, either.

(Maybe that's where they watch Netflix?)

Yep, my kids started this one, they got a solar powered ballon for Christmas, big long dark bag that the sun heats the air up inside, making it rise.

last thing I said before they went out was "don't let go of the string"

A few days later it appeared on youtube

, I simply cannot express how fervently I hope they honor your wishes! :ROFLMAO: (And take video.)

o_O No time soon, of course. Best of wishes, no ill will and all. They'd get in lots of trouble, but then, they could probably pay their attorneys with the earnings from YouTube.

Barring that, they could shoot you out of a cannon. It might create less of a splash. ;)
