Made a note to sow more of this....already have quite a few nice clumps establishing themselves around the garden. The flower buds remind me of pearls as they shimmer and sway in the breeze .
Catananche Caerulea also flower for 3mths.....and I haven't watered it :)(y)

Wow! And that's a double. I have a single last year. This year, it's nowhere to be seen. Must have been the snow. I think I will colour co-ordinate my plants from now on.

@Upsy Daisy That's brilliant - little watering and yet tons of big flowers! Very nice! I'd like some of those seeds as well! Look, I am ordering like a big spender!

That's why I posted it, thought you would like it.
Took me ages to get a half decent pic as it's quite breezy here today at times.
Will add them to your list(y)

I keep buying the cheap ones and they are £1 from poundshop. I am no snob as I had a gloriosa and a frilly edged oriental poppy from them. The £1 red gooseberry is delicious too. I have never seen one like this in Poundshop. Must look around. It looks so happy your way.

Your black and pink beauties spurred me to the garden and now I have some to share. On 2nd thought, I'd better let other enjoy your glorious labour of love!;)

@BigC what is the grass you have bought ? I hope it isn't phalaris arundinacea or commonly know as gardeners gators, it spreads like crazy.

I hate that fall is coming. But there is always compost to play with!View attachment 39102

From today onwards, it's going to be downhill! Summer solstice was yesterday! But hey, we have just come into some steady warm weather, let's count the blessing (for me, minus the rain) ... Your veg looks brilliantly healthy!

To tell you the truth, the fir also spread like crazy. It's always used as ground cover, ground hugging and spreading! The tall grass can be potted, but the other one can be a bit tricky. I used to have one at the front. But I had very hot weather, so they might go crazy. Hopefully, Ireland is a different home to it. The tall grass is indeed very pretty and uplifting. But it might be a good idea to pot it.

If this is Easter Star, I am short-changed.

It's supposed to look like this!:cry:

The feted Caradonna! Bees will love it. And I need it as this horrible raised wall can only house heat and drought resistant plants.

Jackmanii - Such a beautiful clematis. Usually 4 bracts..

Lilies are very happy and they seem to stand up very well to the beetles.

People show off their rudbeckia; I have a clump of these tiny popheads!:LOL: Embarrassing!

Lavender is happiest in this arid garden!
