Recently corned beef has been added to the diet. It is processed in Brazil and is found to be more than acceptable. In usually ingested in a sandwich but there are many recipes on the internet.

I thought you were against salt and sugar in foods?
Your Walla Walla onions, thinly sliced will complete a delicious sandwich.
Here in the UK, it is colloquially known as, "Corned Dog."
It isn't strictly a vegetable.

I don't eat much of it being a bit conscientious of the additives. It is rather tasty and a quick lunch or meal periodically. It can't be much worse than supermarket hamburger or other processed meats. It does keep forever which of course is its virtue. Canned spam is similar.

Love good corn beef. Hard to find good in my area. When I am in need for some I will have a few lbs shipped in from the best Jewish deli I know, Corkey and Lennys over in Chargrin Falls, Ohio. used to live near them, miss so much. a wonderful Jewish deli. tried several around the Philly area, none yet compare.

Spam is seldom served as such from a can in Canada. Most corned beef if not all comes from Argentina and Brazil. I like both periodically. It was fairly common in emergency Army rations.

Corned beef cooks well as a hash, with potatoes, water and onions and optional veg like diced carrot or swede, peas, or sweetcorn, or any combination.

Have had Spam, ages ago, not gravitating toward it much. I will buy corn beef hash in a can once in a blue moon, but most are over salted for me. would never make any hash from the Corn beef I have shipped in, its for a sandwich or a good reuben sandwich. Yummy.

OMG, miss that place
