Garlic is starting to grow. There was snow a few days ago. The first sign of warm weather and garlic starts growing in the Spring. It looks very healthy.

Looks good. Very dark green green. Which variety?

I found out garlic oil and thyme oil are bad for nematode life cycles. I wonder if interspersing garlic around the garden would be of any use.

Garlic can be used as a natural insecticide and fungicide but it will also indiscriminately kill beneficials as well. If you want to be organic though its an option. It can also be planted among some crop types as a good beneficial companion. Here’s a pic of mine from 2 weeks ago.
