Hi!

Once my crooked neck squash blooms begin putting on fruit, about how long usually before they are ready to harvest?

Depends....on your taste for squash. I'm of the opinion that squash, especially crooked neck is best eaten when small and the larger it gets the less appealing it is to eat. They will keep growing getting quite large...but try this... harvest a few small ones and compare taste to some you let grow out fully. That comparison can help you decide in the future what your preference is. Once the blooms fall off they are prime "small" squash at the height of their taste.
