Everything we've done in the yard has started off by fitting the conditions that it has to aid people and/or non-human animals. Cover, food, water, etc. It just wouldn't feel like a complete system with full functionality withoiut the animals. Do we occasionally have issues we wish they didn't present? Absolutely. Have I figured everything out? No. And the minute I thought I might, the animals would figure out something else. But they add life both literally and figuratively into an area that would be much less if they were not there. They are terribly interesting and very entertaining...even the night critters.
