Which plant for a fence?

I don't know what your Weather is like, but Nelly R. Stevens Holly makes a good privacy fence. They are very easy to grow and suited well to most native soils. .

You might find this interesting, assuming you want a hedge, not a plant to climb a fence, for that I would say 'look at clematis'.
