Hello
I am about to report a hydrangea peniculata moonlight but I can’t remember the appropriate compost. Can’t seem to find an answer on line and was just given 3 different answers at my garden centre. Thanks in advance

The only time a special compost is recommended is for a hydrangea with blue flowers. In that case you would use 'Ericaceous compost' For the rest, regular compost is fine.

Yes that is fine. Quite honestly, you can use any and all of the composts out there. It's only makes a difference in blue flowering hydrangea's as what to use.

What he said. Ericaceous compost is recommended to keep blue hydrangeas blue. When I planted my hydrangea that I got from orchid republic studio city, I only put a little amount of compost. Then I added some vit E because I heard that it will help my plant get established.
