When to train in trellis

I just got a Lonicera tellmanniana it’s only tiny in a 9cm pot but has a few long trailing bits, should I grow it on for a while or plant it where I want it to be?
I’ve not had a climbing plant before so need some advice please

That plant is a type of honeysuckle I believe that likes partial sun some shade. I would set up your trellis where you can give the plant that and then plant it straight away.
