What's this on my tomato leaves?

It some weird pattern on some of the leaves of my tomato plant. What is this?

EDIT: I also bought a pepper plant the other day which has the same thing on one leaf.

That is what is called a leaf miner. Once they are inside the leaf there is nothing you can do. But not to worry. Their damage is usually very minor. Just forget about them.
