@Larisa it doesn't look like you need any cheering up from my small blossom:). I'm sorry it was so wet, but i hosed them before i knew they were there. Your shimmering gold flower is awesome. I remember the photos you sent us last year of Moscva at this time. It must look incredible now(y)

Now only the beginning. New Year is our main holiday. Christmas January 7 is a bit more modest. But I hope to make New Year's photos during the Christmas holidays. :)

Here are a few bloomers in December:).
Jatropha integerrima (Spicy Jatropha). This blooms all year, but i appreciate it more in December

This is the first Papaya flower i have ever seen and it is such a delightful little flower...looks like it is dancing

Justicia brandegeana (Red Shrimp Plant). This is a staple for the hummingbirds which feed on it all year.

A hint of spring @zigs. (y) Primrose flowers are great sugar frosted for cake decorations. :)
