My sister gave me this indoor tree for my birthday and I absolutely love it! She handmade the pot and everything! However, I have no idea what plant or tree this is or how to care for it. All I know is that it is super low maintenance and I would have to completely neglect it to kill it. Of course I want this plant to thrive so if anyone can tell me what it is so I can research it more that would be great. I thought my sister said a cane Palm but when I googled that, they looked completely different. Please help!

I agree with yucca, but not sure which variety.
BTW, I know they are called indoor plants by many, but I think (if you live in the right area) they do very well outside in the ground (not a container). I was given one in a container and its growth was stunted; I planted it in the ground and it has taken off -- I can't wait for it to flower.
