So I have a bunch of fruit trees in my backyard and I'm having trouble identifying them. The first one I think is a peach tree but I'm a little confused because I live in Florida and I didn't know we grow those here. I cut a fruit open and it smells like a peach. Is it?

If it looks like a duck and smells like a duck, it's probably... a peach! :p Peach trees grow fine in Florida. It's the chill hours that would be a problem. Some peach varieties need over 1000 hours below 40°F in order to set fruit, while others need around 200. You must have one of the low-chill peaches. Even if you don't get 200 chill hours in a winter, the plant will be fine, you just won't get peaches.
