Looks oak-y. You are in Georgia. Look to the Southwest where your winds prevail. Also to the Northwest from where we just caught those storms last week.
There are many varieties of Black Jack Oak and the picture of the leaf looks very much like a few of them. This and the fact that BJO is common in your area make me think that is what this is.
