Leaves R about 18" across tip to tip & taste very bitter. Oriental sweet & sour sauce gave my chicken sandwich taste very good with 2 folded leaves and a slice of garden onion. What every this plant is it will make more sandwiches.
Is there a sweetness in the stalk itself, or is the entire thing bitter? At this size, bok choy would be on the more bitter side of the greens but should still have a sweetness to the stalk. Tatsoi maybe? This feels like it's on the large side of the spectrum for whatever it is, and that's making it difficult to picture it smaller, lol
