What is this little thing in my fern’s soil

I’m not a plant expert so I’m sure it’s something very trivial and boring but I found this little green seed/ deflated grape looking thing sitting on top of the soil of my rabbit’s foot fern, and have no idea what it is!

My guess is a rhizome that never properly formed???

Hello, and welcome to the Forums.

It looks like a Sedum leaf beginning to root into a new plant, perhaps Sedum x rubrotinctum.
Such succulents make attractive, easy care plants. Obviously, they are easy to propagate as well.
