It's New Year's Eve and I won't be watching the BBC's annual "Jowls" Holland's Hootenanny.
If there's one thing I can't stand, it's honky-tonk piano.
For decades, he's occasionally had female singers on his once regular, "Later" programmes where their styles are polls apart.

"So they meet in the middle and play and sing something, under-rehearsed, neither can manage properly."

Here's an example. Sarah Vaughan would have been turning in her grave.

Shame, as Amy made some good recordings, many when she had "fewer tats."

The alternative, is Rick Astley. I don't mind him.
I occasionally play this on my leccy piano just for fun.

He recently said that he's grown to like it again.

How do you "do information science"? and I have plenty organic soil about. And, not a Girl, that ended many moons ago. Happy New Year.
In Spirit we are all young and lovable.
So, Happy new year and I reserve a virtual dance with you,
If you are too old for that then it is a sad day for us both.
As for information science I live here

It is New Years eve.

Wow. I am alone with cats and I have adult party favors to comfort me.

Happy New Year!
If you have someone to love I wish you two the best.

I've one of these, "it does half the work for you."
It's mostly chords, left hand, melody, right-hand. "I'm self-taught, you'll be able to tell."

A Yamaha Tyros 5. I've had this one six years. A fantastic number of voices. It's far too complicated for me to understand.

But you can find the right instrument setting for particular solos for a lot of well known tunes. For example

Lionel Richie.

It's my sixth piano in forty-odd years. But I don't play it that much.

I like to play jazz standards,

some vintage pop

A bit of ELO

a bit of MoTown.

Oh and some Christmas stuff.

I've a couple of hundred more, but I won't post them!
