Weed or flower ?

I have this plant growing all over my back yard and I let it grow because of the flower, it spreads like crazy so I pull it out where I don't want it. Can any tell me what it is.

If something is pretty/interesting and flowering, l mostly let it grow until it's done flowering or being interesting. At least around the edges of the lawn. I think "weed" is a relative term.

I've cut it back when its done flowering and it will grow back and flower most all summer.

Just call it a wildflower restrict its growth.

Thanks for the information, I just looked it up and found its a greater Celandine, its in the poppy family and is a perennial herb
