The plant is very essential fore human life. So We need more and more gardens. If we want a healthy life, gardening should be our goal. A world without plants is unimaginable.
Trees certainly, when the Saxons started felling and ploughing England there was eight feet of leaf mould, now they are putting chemical fertilizer on bare sub soil.The biggest problem is still deforestation in South America and other countries.
Here in the UK we have campaigners complaining about the tiny front gardens of suburban houses being paved over for parking, thus reducing the number of cars parked on the roads causing congestion, so more pollution.
